Articles published today on the ITV news website following an investigation state that there are over 600,000 dishwashers unaccounted for following safety recalls over concerns about fire hazards.
The dishwashers are from manufacturers Hotpoint and Bosch  - Bosch report that there have been just over 400 incidents in people’s homes and Hotpoint 38 incidents (rare instances of overheating causing electrical fires).
